Alan Warren contacted me in regard to the photographs of the the Lincoln-Washington Battalion taken just after Belchite in September 1937. I added a link to his superb Porta de la Historia’s blog. He has had quite a bit of success finding the location for numerous photographs from ALBA’s Randall collection. I especially enjoyed seeing the library at Villa Paz. I am amazed that it survived the Franco years.

I added two links today. Both are to paper by David Berry on French Anarchist volunteers in the Spanish Civil War. I have added them because they have some information on George Sossenko and will eventually be incorporated into the information on French volunteers.
